Colleen T. Calandra Leads Bachus & Schanker Labor & Employment Law Division
Bachus & Schanker ‘s passion for justice is built on strong leadership, and that continues with the Colorado law firm’s newest attorney, Colleen T. Calandra. Colleen now leads the firm’s Labor and Employment Law practice group and specializes in the areas of Age Discrimination, Disability Discrimination, Employee Benefits, Employment Discrimination Based on Race, Sex, Religion and National Origin, Family Medical Leave Act, Pregnancy Discrimination, Wage and Hour and Wrongful Discharge.
Colleen received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2001.
After five years of practice, Colleen furthered her knowledge in the areas of Labor and Employment law by earning her Masters in Law, L.L.M., from Wayne State University Law School with a GPA of 3.8 while working full time. This degree allowed Colleen to enhance and expand her existing practice by studying in depth wages, discrimination, and employee benefits.
Before joining Bachus & Schanker, Colleen worked as an attorney at a Michigan law firm litigating labor and employment related matters on behalf of Plaintiffs.
