Dolls for Daughters Toy Giveaway Benefits More than 3,000 Colorado Children in 2012
Bachus & Schanker is proud to support the third annual Dolls for Daughters and Toys for Boys Toy Shop that was held on December 8 at the Stanley British Primary School Gym. The event was free and open to families in need of assistance in providing special toys for their children at Christmas. Generous gifts from the community allowed the organization to provide new toys for children ages newborn through 18.
More than 900 Families Helped
“We provided more than 900 families with 3,100 children more than 23,000 items this holiday season. 3,000 of these children went home with a new toy, three stocking stuffers, a new book with a bookmark and a toothbrush/toothpaste kit,” according to founder Jessica Bachus. Dolls for Daughter’s mission is simply to put a smile on the faces of underprivileged children and help struggling families get on their feet in communities throughout Colorado.
